The intricate underground pipeline delivery system is referred to as the distribution system. Once the water enters the distribution system, it is delivered within the 10-square mile service area utilizing sections of the installed pipelines. Valley County Water District maintains nearly 120 miles of water main transmission pipelines, ranging in size from as small as 2” to as large as 24” depending on the comprehensive water service delivery needs of the developed area.
