12,470 Water Delivery Service Lines
Main pipeline tapped with a 1" copper service line

Each residence and business within the service area of Valley County Water District is provided water through a smaller pipeline known as a water delivery service line. A water delivery service line is connected to the water main transmission pipeline and runs from the street to the meter box in the sidewalk or parkway in front of each residence or business. Water delivery service lines range in size from as small as ¾” to as large as 8” and are customized to meet the specific needs of each home and business building. Valley County Water District continually repairs, maintains, and replaces portions of the 12,470 water delivery service lines installed throughout the service area based on age and leak history.
